site not functional if noscript enabled

FINALLY! I'm glad I found this thread. Ever since installing the latest build of NoScript I have had similar issues. I am running Firefox Portable v.3.0.10 [Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.0.10) Gecko/2009042316 Firefox/3.0.10 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)] -- I know there are more recent "full" versions of FF, but I don't want to upgrade b/c I like the portable versions, and also some of my other add-ons are not supported by later FF builds.

Prior to the latest install, everything worked great. Afterwards I started noticing annoying issues on many pages, most notably:

1. Google Maps won't load any maps. Search an addy, and the site displays "Loading . . ." forever, and never loads the map.
2. On Hulu.com you can hover over a clip or episode, and a description pops up -- usually. Not with the latest NoScript installed.

Numerous other, similar annoyances occur on so many other sites it's tedious to list them all.

Clearing cache, etc had no effect. I tried enabling/disabling scripts one-by-one on each page to see if I could figure this out. No luck. I tried allowing scripts globally using the latest NoScript build. Surprisingly I STILL had the exact same problems. I uninstalled NoScript completely, and everything worked fine.

THEN I found this thread. THANKS! I rolled back to NoScript v.2.0.2.5 -- NOW everything works normally again.

I dunno what exactly the issue is, but it's definitely something in the latest build of NoScript.

Try rolling forward to the latest development build & see if that too fixes your problems.

There is nothing experimental or futuristic about it. The development build as it is labeled is actually a fully packaged and ready for release build that has just not been posted to AMO yet and subject to additions/subtractions. They are built with the same intentions, methods and reliability as any other build. If no changes are made quickly after the build, then its considered finalized and pushed to AMO, otherwise changes are made and packaged and THEN pushed. Either way each build is a good as the previous and just as reliable and solid (not barring any tweaks and bugs that can be in ANY software released to the public). Many have the misconception of the dev build and I felt it was worth a quick note on this subject.

Also had the same problem. Lots of sites didn't work, even though NoScript was set to allow everything. A good test site is: http://www.volkswagen.co.uk where nothing is displayed.

Tried the latest development build as suggested. Sites now work again. Thank you!

I suggest you get this out into the wild as soon as!

As of NoScript 2.0.3.2rc2 (or maybe rc1, not sure), GMail works again for me.
