sticky menu items are out of sync

When I click on the menu with regular click which brings up the sticky menu and then go under the Untrusted sub-menu to select items, after selecting one item the location of the cursor vs. the location of the actual item highlighted are wrong and out of sync requiring a person to stop what they are doing, let the options already selected to be applied and then go back again to the menu to select more items which kind of defeats the purpose of the sticky menu.

I clicked on the adbureau.net to mark it as untrusted. Then when I put my cursor over quantserve.com to mark it as untrusted it will highlight the temporarily allow google-analytics.com instead of the item I am trying to actually mark as untrusted. The only way to solve it is to click somewhere else, let it apply the choices already made and then come back and do it again, its quite annoying and happens quite a bit. However, since it disappeared for a few releases I didn't say anything but its there again and I figured its time to let you know so you can find out why its doing that, it makes no sense. I remember having such problems when running a virtual machine. Was because of problems with the VM drivers for the client OS (for seamless mouse interaction).
The problem was not limited to Firefox though.

No virtual machine here, its a regular desktop machine. Plus its not something that just started happening, it has been doing this for a long while and I experience it only on Firefox but I know what you mean about this issue on other areas of computing. It has to do with the refresh rates regarding owner drawn menus using the old API to create, as in the early VB style menu coding. Anyway, it doesn't happen with other addons that I have on this profile which means its specific to how NS does its menu creation. Probably the codes used to make it sticky is somehow not refreshing properly to adjust to the elements contracting when they are selected. Hopefully Giorgio can tell us what's up and hopefully have a fix for it.
