site not functional if noscript enabled
I can't seem to figure out what setting(s) to change to get this site to work with noscript enabled:
http://www.gebweb.net/optimap/
I thought it would be a cross site scripting thing but I've tried allowing cross site scripting and messed around with other settings without success.

Works for when having all three domains allowed.
BTW, I doubt the round-trip feature gives you the optimal solution every time.

Simply allowed gebweb.net & worked.
Cause as it is you can't cross over & make a left, you do need to to make a right then a U'y.
Really neat how it knew that.Make a U-turn at N Rolling Rd

Re: site not functional if noscript enabled
I'm having the same issue, except it's with etrade.com
As soon as I login, I get a blank white page. Works though when I have the extension disabled.
I've tried various combinations of settings but nothing changed.
I've also allowed all the sites etrade uses on the page.
Any suggestions?

Re: site not functional if noscript enabled
I allowed a NoScript update which was apparently a mistake. Found several sites that no longer work properly, A couple of the modules on Google will not work until I disable NoScript. The modules I have found so far include the standard Gmail box on my Google Page along with a Bookmarks module. Also, on Motley Fool investing site, if you hover over a ticker symbol, it no longer pops up the stock price and user rating, etc. If disable NoScript, it all works just fine.
Hows does one return to a previous version of NoScript?

Re: site not functional if noscript enabled
Ok.... solved my own problem. Found version 2.0.2.5 on the Mozilla site and installed it. All is working well again. Definitely something wrong with the latest update.

However your problems are very unlikely to be caused by the update.
Please let us know whether downgrading actually helps (I doubt).
If it doesn't, please try NoScript Options|Reset and/or Standard Diagnostic (keeping NS enabled) and let us know.

Giorgio:
Per my previous post, installing a previous version did fix the problem.

Then please upgrade and check whether the problem comes back.
I just tested by iGoogle page with the GMail module, among others, and everything is working just fine...

Just upgraded. The problem returned instantly. Going back to the previous version.

Re: site not functional if noscript enabled
I had no luck at reproducing the GMail google module issue.Steve Hawkins wrote: if you hover over a ticker symbol, it no longer pops up the stock price and user rating
Could you tell me how to reproduce the fool.com one?
I went to http://caps.fool.com/TickerRankings.asp ... snv0000001 and everything works fine as long as "fool.com" is allowed (i.e., when I hover over a stock symbol a temporary popup is shown with detail).
One thing I noticed, though, is that if I've got cookie disabled for the site (I use CookieButton) no popup works (even the graph ones on the home page).
Maybe it's a cookie-related issue? Could you try clearing them up?

Re: site not functional if noscript enabled
The process you describe on fool.com is exactly how my PC works at the moment, with the older NS version. With the latest update applied, nothing whatsoever pops up, even though fool.com is allowed.
It doesn't seem to have anything to do with cookies. Earlier this evening, I cleared my cache and deleted all my cookies and started over. I'm using Firefox 3.0.7 on XP SP3 and I have it set to accept all cookies from sites not on my block list. My block list is clear right now. Regardless of what I do with cookies, the problems with NS only surface when I apply the latest update. I'm at a loss to explain it.

Re: site not functional if noscript enabled
I am running Minefield (Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:2.0b6pre) Gecko/20100913 Firefox/4.0b6pre) with NoScript and I am not able to use either of GMail's interfaces (Ajax/HTML only). On GMail, I always get these error messages:
On http://caps.fool.com/TickerRankings.asp ... snv0000001 (which redirected me to http://caps.fool.com/tickerrankings.asp ... &sortdir=1) I got:
These errors occur with NoScript 2.0.2.5, 2.0.3, and the latest development build. Cookies and cache clear.
I do not know what has recently changed and is causing this problem; but I am sure GMail had worked two or three days ago.
If there is something I can help with, feel free to ask me.

Re: site not functional if noscript enabled
Deleted all cookies, cleared the cache, reinstalled NoScript (2.0.3.1rc1), still not working.
Then I tried to create a clean profile and install NoScript 2.0.3.1rc1: GMail works.
After that I returned to my main profile, reset NoScript (Options | Reset), deleted cookies, cleared the cache, restarted Minefield, and even though all NoScript settings were lost (as expected), GMail remains broken.
