I tried to do a Flashgot Selection for a large list of images and now I find that I cannot halt the downloads. How do I stop the flashgot?
I am using Flashgot using Firefox 3.6.8 on Kubuntu Linux. Flashgot is using wget to download the pictures. I have killed firefox and the downloads are still happening.
Thanks for your help.

Re: Stopping Flashgot
Not familiar with your setup, but would think that FF -> FlashGot passes a set of links to wget & once passed they are out of the picture. So if killing FF didn't help, what happens if you kill wget?

Re: Stopping Flashgot
If I kill wget, then after a few seconds, wget is restarted and the downloads resume.

Re: Stopping Flashgot
wget should be spawned by a XTerm instance.
Isn't it killed if you close the XTerm window?

I just tested it four times. Twice killing the xterm stopped the downloads. Twice the files still kept appearing in the destination directory until I rebooted the machine.
