[Invalid] Google Bug

Post by shadeclan »

This morning, I upgraded to Firefox 3.6.9. Since then, if you do a search on Google (which works fine), then change the search criteria, the screen will not automatically refresh, although a manual refresh will return the search page with the new criteria. I have traced the problem to NoScript - when I disable it, the problem goes away. I re-enabled NoScript and hit the reset button and that seemed to solve the problem - however, once I closed the tab and brought up a fresh instance of the Google search page, the problem returned. Please look into this as soon as possible.

I think this is in some way connected with the recent change to the Google search page where it auto-magically refreshes as you change the search criteria. Other search pages, such as Yahoo! Search seem to be working OK.

Not seeing the issue (in SeaMonkey at least - branch or trunk).
(In SeaMonkey you need to add "Firefox" to the UA in order for the new search to work.)

Anyhow, I type in a search term, results display
Do not click any of the links, but just change to a new search term (or click the 'X' to clear the line), new results display

Yeah, it's working now. Must have been a temporary glitch at Google or something.
