no status bar icon or pop up Noscript

I've used Noscript for the past couple of years but now I have a problem I can't solve. I had some issues with the latest Firefox so uninstalled it and reinstalled from a fresh download. When I added Noscript to my Add-ons I no longer have a Noscript Status Bar Icon nor does the Noscript "flag" come up at the bottom so I can Right-click and allow certain elements. Noscript seems to be working as it blocks Jave etc (in fact I had to disable it to write this topic). I checked the options and the Noscript Status bar icon is ticked. Is there something I am doing wrong?

I eventually found the problem. Its a conflict with Zonealarm Toolbar. As yet there is no fix.
