URL where this happens?
Open 4-5kb in a text editor.
What does it show?
(Suppose it is either an html page or something like a .smil which would only contain a pointer to an actual download.)
The "2 or more links" are they to the same file or different files?

Re: Cant download ONE single link!has to be 2 or more.help!
for example an episode is split in five links of rapidshare with an extension .rar
if i highlight all 5 links ,right click and select "flashgot selection" a small window of orbit opens and i click download all ok,it starts
BUT if i highlight ONE link of them and do the same procedure in the orbit window it shows that the link contains only 5-6 kb.
the last 2 days this happens, before i didnt have this problem.
i tried older version of flashgot and orbit and also other download managers the same happens.the only common is flashgot thats why i assume here is the problem!i also unistalled-re install both orbit and flashgot but nothing.i even tried older versions of ffox.
did i help you understand my problem?
an url is this one but happens to all links

Suppose you have Rapidshare Premium?
What referrer are you getting?
If you grab the one link in IE, does it get 4-5kb or the correct file?
Site needs login though I did find a couple links.
http://www.thegreekz.com/forum/showthread.php?t=423922
http://www.thegreekz.com/forum/showthread.php?t=352381
First case had two types of links.
1) live links using some kind of anonymizer (I suppose it is):
2) textual links
1) the "http://dontknow.me/?" was dropped & only the wanted URL was passed to my download manager
2) only has the URL, & was passed to my download manager
Nothing out of the ordinary from what I'm seeing. I don't see any reason for the results you're getting?
Did you open the 4-5kb? What is inside?
Maybe post your flashgot.fgt or flashgot.fgt.done file? (Should be within your %TMP% directory.)

Re: Cant download ONE single link!has to be 2 or more.help!
try to hlighlight ONE link>right click "flashgot selection" then the download manager window opens(in my case orbit),and shows me that the size is only 5 something kb only!
on the other hand if i highlight the same ONE link and copy-paste it in the address bar the built in download manager of ffox opens and downloads the file in full(100 mb approx)
WHICH COMBINATION DO YOU USE?I TRIED ORBIT+FLASHGOT AND FLASHGOT+FLASHGET BOTH HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM.
TELL ME YOUR COMBINATION SO I TRY THAT TOO!

Re: Cant download ONE single link!has to be 2 or more.help!
Hello,
Make sure you are logged in to rapidshare in both firefox and internet explorer. I have found myself logged out of rapidshare several times in the last few weeks through no action of mine. If that does not work try deleting rapidshare.com cookies in both internet explorer and firefox and logging back in to rapidshare in both browsers. I had a problem once of having two sets of cookies for rapidshare (or was it hotfile? Can't remember...) resulting in similar problems (able to download multiple selection, but not a single one).
Now if only someone would tell me if I'm the only one having problems with filesonic (ex sharingmatrix) not redirecting properly resulting in html files...
Cheers

1-can you tell me how do i download files that end like rar.html?iam talking about rapidshare and hotfile for example.
2-on hotfile when i grab files they open with flashgot as .html and cant download them.how do i fix this problem?
3-iam using most times the combination flashgot-orbit downloader in firefox.is there ONE program instead of two to do the job?(do we need flashgot add on on ffox or can we grab the links only with an download manager)?

Re: Cant download ONE single link!has to be 2 or more.help!
Hello,
1. Simply check "Switch choosing state" checkbox In Orbit's multiple files download dialogue and click Download. Orbit will take care of renaming the file afterwards (removing the extra extension) if all other parameters are correct (cookies, referer, user agent, etc...). You can also select files within this dialogue and choose which ones you want to download by using "Switch choosing state".
2. It is actually Orbit's window that you see, not FlashGot's. See above.
3. Given all the nicetys FlashGot offers such as following anonimized/redirected links as well as many others i would never consider using anything else. Thank You Giorgio for this wonderful extension.
Cheers

Hello,
I use Orbit together with FlashGot. Orbit is my choice simply because of the way it handles cookies. It reads them when the download is added and stores them in a separate file for later use. Most other download managers that I know of seem to read Interner Explorer cookies when the download is started. If you have many files in your downloading queue (usually more than 50) you are bound to run into trouble eventually by getting small files you described earlier. Now, back to your current problem. If 2 links out of 7 selected work so should the other 5. You can try checking if files are still available at the file hoster. Here are rapidshare's and hotfile's link checkers:

What kind of Internet connection? Dialup? If so, very likely that the links are expiring.Did you open the 4-5kb? What is inside?
Otherwise, 200 MB shouldn't be causing a problem in that regard for Cable/DSL.
