With IFRAMES blocked an "Allowed" site still is not "allowed" till the placeholder is clicked, thereby facilitating the actual Allow. And with that the icon changes to reflect that status.

Is that it? Sure is confusing?

My config behaves this exact way (all opacised, IFRAMES blocked)
I've found it at a couple of sites and put it down to just one more recaptcha run down the rabbit hole.
It's sorta logical, but way over my head for why the double-confirmation of allow is needed. Part of the bot wars maybe.
Come to think of it, it's the same setup on the hackademix commenting pages.

What about indicating which 3rd party scripts are dependent on the host domain?

What do you mean by "dependent"?
In the domain's own libraries, or something else?

I think, if I am not mistaken and correct me if I am wrong nagan, but wants to know which domain is linking to the script. For example:

Host Domain links to a.com b.com and c.com
Host has 2 scripts and a links to 1 and b links to another and c links to 3
This way we know 2 of them are linked by the host and the rest are linked by the domains referenced instead.

Am I in the ballpark?

If the OP clears that up for you, you can suggest JSView I guess Maybe explain you gotta allow the secondary domains to discover their scripts? NS can't do magic that guesses scripts that don't get pointed to on a page.

Exactly exactly.... What I was wondering about is a certain indication in the left click context. Since the icon itself is pretty sure about what scripts are independent (Giorgio's cited site here in this thread ) NS knows that recaptcha has been allowed.But may be that can be translated into the context too.

For example Youtube is trusted ,but does not seem to be running at a particular site.If from the context I gather that it is independent ,I may believe there is a problem at youtube and need not risk allowing the script of the parent domain.

This might be useful for trusted sites linked from unknown sites.
I could profer this with the limited idea I have but charley is not too convinced

I know and I have many ways myself so the feature for me is a nice to have but I am just addressing what the OP said and trying to assist them in resolving their request, nothing more.

Well to each their own and ultimately its not Charley or me who need to be convinced, it is something that Giorgio, if he finds it worthwhile, needs to consider and do. I just wanted to let you know that I got what you were asking and although I accomplish this myself using other means, it is a nice to have feature. However, it might put too much strain on the addon to do all this in addition but that's up to Giorgio and in the meanwhile you might try RequestPolicy (be careful it can be a pain if you don't know what you are doing) and/or JSView (I don't personally use it but was recommended by Charley and you might want to look into it).
