Hello Noscript Team,
i have another version 2.0 related issue.
sometimes i read news on www.spiegel.de
they sometimes have a map in their articles, which is powered by google.
when i dont allow google.com or google.de scripts, and go to the articles,
my browser will constantly try to reload the map part of the site, which results
in an annoying flickering.
i use firefox 3.6.8 on windows xp sp3 with noscript, flashgot, greasemonkey, adblockplus, java console and longurlplease installed

I suggest you allow google.com and google.de. Is there any reason you can't do that?g.verpeilt wrote:they sometimes have a map in their articles, which is powered by google.

You can allow maps.google.de and .com, which is nice.
Speaking of it, I cannot post here without google.com allowed.

Re: spiegel.de news site issues
There might be some reasons for which people would rather not allow Google sites by default. However, I do not see why having Google.com would be a required to post to this site. I have tested with Google completely blocked in every which way and nothing stops me from posting here, speaking of which. As for the "flickering" issue when not allowed on certain sites, I have noticed that happening too and each time I have narrowed it down to a piece of code in that site that was the reason fro the bizarre refreshes, nothing specifically to do with NoScript. Although none of those sites were what you mentioned, so I concede that it might be a different issue on that site.
