1.10 seems to break Facebook's "attach to status" ajax

Post by cav »

Doesn't produce a console error, though occasionally I have gotten it to warn about a cross site issue.

Reproduce:
1) have a facebook account
2) trust/whitelist the facebook domains
3) use 1.9.99
4) attempt to attach a link of any URL to a status message
5) see it work
6) cancel the status message
7) load 1.10
8) attempt to attach a link of any URL to a status message
9) see it hang with no UI or produce a blank page

It's working fine for me.
Could you check if it keeps happening in latest development build?
If it does, is it for any URL or specific ones?
If it is for any URL, could you try Standard Diagnostic?

Wow!! Thank you for your quick response
The latest dev build could not reproduce error.
I re-downloaded the 1.10 from another mozilla mirror and that worked too.
I will keep trying to reproduce it but it could be I just had a bad copy and I did not realize it.

Thank you very much for your time.
