I have windows 7(64bit) with the latest version of Firefox as well as the latest update of Noscript(9.9.9.99). A week ago I installed Torbutton as I occasionally use the Tor program. Shortly after installing it the Noscript button stopped working. It remained stuck in its default forbid mode allowing no changes. When I click on Allow all this Page it adds the exception to the whitelist but will still not allow it or any of the other webpages that were previously on the whitelist. Disabling the Torbutton has no effect nor does uninstalling and reinstalling Noscript. I am forced to constantly disable and re-inable Noscript to get certain web pages to work.
Can anyone tell me how to correct this? Thanks.

Re: NoScript button not working
Could you check whether using NoScript Options|Reset helps?

Re: NoScript button not working
I have just done a clean install and I have the same problem. Win7 Professional (64bit). Firefox 3.6.6.. Latest version of no-script. I can not even find the "buttons"; I have always been able to go to tools, customize, and drag the no script button to the menu, the button is not in the button menu.

Re: NoScript button not working
My problem ( in the post above) was that the ZoneAlarm Toolbar (ver 1.5.1.49.0) which somehow ZoneAlarm automagically adds to a browser upon install was conflicting with NoScript. It was blocking the NoScript buttons from appearing in the status-bar (on bottom of browswe) as well as blocking the ability to add / find the Noscript Icon to place it as a menu icon on the top.
When I disabled the ZoneAlarm toolbar NoScript functions perfectly, the way it always has for, well almost forever, ever since I started to use FireFox years ago.
NoScript is the most valuable add on for FireFox, It is the main reason that I use Firefox as the default browser on all of our computers.

Re: NoScript button not working
Thanks for your replies. I am sorry I didn't answer sooner but I have just spent the last three days hunting down and cleaning out one of my other computers from a major rootkit infection. In answer to your question the reset option does not work. When I click on reset I get a popup warning me that the changes I'm about to make are irreversible, However, when I click on the OK button it just returns me to the options screen with nothing having been changed. i don;t use Zone Alarm but BitDefender which i've had for months so that is not the problem.

Re: NoScript button not working
I posted a report on a conflict between NoScript and FF 3.6.6 on the Mozilla support service:
http://support.mozilla.com/tiki-view_fo ... tId=730282
Again a problem with the NoScript button but in this case it shut down FF and exited the user session (newly installed OpenSuse 11.3)
Any relation to this?

Re: NoScript button not working
Checked out your link. The problem mentioned by Payakoff sounds almost exactly like mine. Unfortunately this doesn't bring me any closer to a solution. I wish the site administrator would get back to me as he might be able to shed some light on this.

@Simon:
your problem is very likely a variant of this one.
Could you try updating all your video-related stuff (X and drivers)?
@Anatoli:
Very likely an extensions conflict. Please try Standard Diagnosic (@Simon this may help you too).
