Hi,
I have ff 3.6.3. When FF released the update I kept an eye on the mozilla ff forum and saw many problems due to the container.exe causing ff to crash on sites with video, as well I noticed vista being the os in some of the complaints. So, I didn't update.
Now the version is 3.6.6 and I am still seeing problems with those who updated to 3.6.6 in the ff forum with video causing crashes, though there are a lot less complaints. These all have the latest adobe and java releases updated on their system so that isn't the problem with those.
I was wondering if I do update it, would the settings I have on noscript be construed as a flash or java whatever failure when I go on a site with video ? I say java whatever, as I have no idea what the java or javascript is about; same with flash I guess.
When I go to youtube, I temp allow youtube, yimg, and then it refreshes and shows the outline of the video, and then noscript will come up and show blocked objects (only in the noscript menu, not on the yellow bar), which I have to temp allow, which is said to be flash.
When I go to netflix, it first flashes a quick screen by, thanks for installing (no idea what that's about but it says it every time), and goes to next screen with the outline of the video, and then I temp allow netflix, and then same as youtube, the blocked object comes up in noscript menu and I temp allow the flash and the video plays. I believe it's the same steps with hulu.
So when I get on netflix, youtube, or hulu, I temp allow whatever needed to be able to view.
I'm just wondering if ff 3.6.6. would construe these not yet enabled noscript settings as flash/java problems and crash? Or as well, will it cause a problem when doing these step by step temp allows? Will ff think these are flash/java problems?
Thank you.
will ff 3.6.6 crash due to noscript not tmp enabled re video
will ff 3.6.6 crash due to noscript not tmp enabled re video
