Whitelist being ignored after update?

Post by mac9 »

Hello --It seems that after a recent update, all sites in my whitelist have the red circle indicating I have to allow them again. What am I missing?

I'm using the latest Noscript on FF 3.6.3.

Thanks.

Probably nothing. It may be a corruption of your browser profile, not necessarily affecting just NoScript.
Are there other missing/broken preferences?

Hi there,

I have the exact problem here and I have tested it on 3 different computers ( 2 Xp and 1 Vista). FF 3.6.3. (Always portable)

This problem, I think started with NoScript v 1.9.9.81. I have tried to update it but there were no updates. However I found just ab hour ago v1.9.9.87 here on this site manually.

It is extremely annoying to allowing lot of sites all the time. Even my startup page - Google. All this takes a lot of time especially when I start up 15 News sites and I have to manually allow every one of them 3-5 times...

The are all in the Whitelist. NoScript won't recognize them anymore. And I think it is because for example on this page it says all the time: "http://forums.informaction.com" instead "informaction.com" that it did before this problem showed up.

I have tried the reset the settings but at no avail... :-(

Hmmm - I cant even Submit this text: The username you entered is already in use, please select an alternative.
I just changed my username....

SOLVED!

I just found the culprit in another Forum: "Why do I need to enable a domain each time I return to a tab"

Load Tabs Progressively was th culprit. I disabled Load Tabs Progressively v0.9.9 and now everything is normal again! :D :P

Link: Load Tabs Progressively

Reviews mention NoScript issues.

Strange bug with NoScript 1.9.9.90 and Firefox 3.6.4 Build 7 :

Why do I need to enable a domain each time I return to a tab :

  Load Tabs Progressively :: Add-ons for Firefox v0.9.9 seems to be guilty ...
