Hi,
I've got a problem using Facebook with Firefox 3.6.3 and NoScript 1.9.9.80. Logon to Facebook works fine, facebook.com and fbcdn.net are on NoScript's permanent whitelist. However, with NoScript enabled, I'm not able to make any changes in my Facebook account's privacy options, there are no selection tabs on screen. I'm not able to watch any person's friends list or photos, too, there won't open any pop-up window. It seems that only the "background" page of Facebook is displayed and all "overlay" elements are blocked.
I'm new on Facebook, that's why I can't say when this problem occured. But it is obvious that all works fine when I disable NoScript in my Firefox Add-on tab and restart Firefox. Enabling Javascript for all sites and leaving NoScript enabled, doesn't solve the problem. For the moment, I can log on to Facebook, then disable NoScript, restart Firefox, use Facebook as normal, and before leaving Facebook, turn NoScript on and restart Firefox again, so that I'm only on Facebook without NoScript security. But this workaround sucks. Can't it be possible to use Facebook without this trouble? I'm wondering why nobody else seems to have these problems.
For the record: I've got several other add-ons in my Firefox, and this Facebook problem occurs even if I disable all of them but NoScript, and all works fine if I leave them all enabled and only disable NoScript. I've tried deleting cookies and cache, too, and restarted Firefox after that, but that doesn't change anything.
Windows XP SP3 32-bit, Java RE v6 u20
Thanks,
Thomas

(Not familiar with FB, but didn't seem to have any problems bringing up various Privacy Settings web pages & making changes.)

Could you try using NoScript Options|Reset, then reallowing facebook.com and fbcdn.net?

Wow, it worked! I made a NoScript reset and deleted all Facebook cookies, then restarted Firefox, opened Facebook, allowed facebook.com and fbcdn.net in NoScript, deleted all Facebook cookies again (important!, there was a NoScript cookie in the Facebook cookie folder that hadn't been there formerly and isn't there now), restarted Firefox again, logged on in Facebook, and everything was OK.
The only thing is, that I now have to build up my NoScript whitelist from scratch (I've saved the old one before resetting NoScript, but I fear that by importing it, my Facebook problems will occur again).
Thanks a lot,
Thomas
