problem with flashgot and IDA in win7

Post by demon_da »

hi there
i'm here to report a problem with flashgot that integrated with "Internet Download Accelerator (IDA Pro)" happens to me only in win vista/7 platform!
this problem happens when i do a right click and choose "FlashGot Link" on any kind of files/links! nothing happens except a progress bar will pop up and get fulfilled in the ff status bar and nothing else happens! IDA wont comes up nor shows any add link window!
though have this problem only in win vista/7, even i've changed some file permissions from both ida either ff to get rid of this malfunctioning but haven't a bit of a luck yet! :(
so i assume maybe here, someone like me had this prob before and could had take it over!

thanx for your time even you only read my problem! ;)

Do the "Download with IDA" menu items work in Internet Explorer?

Switching to a different download manager (e.g. Orbit Downloader) will help.
You may try to reinstall IDA as an administrator, if you didn't yet.
But it just seems inter-process communication means provided by IDA are broken on recent Windows versions...
