Southern Belle, this usually happens to me if I'm trying to Flashget a file from a forum or somewhere else that uses a password/login, and the '48kb' that you're getting is probably actually the "please log in to download this file" page that you might see if you accessed that link in a browser... To confirm this, find one of those attempted downloads - let's call it "MyFile.avi" - and rename it to something like "MyFile.html", then try opening it in your web browser to see what the heck is going on
If it just looks like gibberish when you try to open it in the browser, then perhaps the server you're trying to download from is just overloaded and is constnatly kicking you out because it has too many people connected at once. I've seen this occasionally too.
Hope that helps,
- Matthew
