Hi all,
I saw that there was one discussion on this same topic before, but I decided to come back to it because it does not solve the problem. On various news site (especially when i use google translate service to read Israeli news) I still get the warning regarding "ac_runactivecontent".
e.g. if you open the page of URL:
http://translate.googleusercontent.com/ ... ujyb1V6jkw
Please Let me know if there is any easier solution to this.
Thanks in advance,
Perry.

Re: "google translate" and ac_runactivecontent.js
I can't reproduce any problem using NoScript 1.9.9.71 in Fx 3.6.4 RC1.
Update to the latest development build, 1.9.9.71 and retest. If your problem persists, follow the troubleshooting steps here:
http://forums.informaction.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1431
(I'd skip step 2 for now.)

Re: "google translate" and ac_runactivecontent.js
Hi Alan,
I am using the same latest noscript version, but firefox 3.6.3, and I also disabled other addons just to check but the problem stays. I also follow other steps you sent the link but still it has no effect (Except the last step, where clean install is needed because I actually reinstall my whole windows 7 recently). The same problem I have on my laptop as well. I guess I have to stay with it
Thanks again for your help,
Perry.

Re: "google translate" and ac_runactivecontent.js
You're welcome. Yes, Fx 3.6.3 is what you should be using. I'm beta testing Fx 3.6.4, which has some unrelated bugs still to be fixed before final release.
Since you didn't provide any specific details, I never knew exactly what your problem is. But, if you followed all the troubleshooting steps, I don't know what else to suggest. Have you tried creating a brand-new test profile with no changes to it, followed by installing NoScript with its default settings?

Re: "google translate" and ac_runactivecontent.js
Hi,
I discovered the problem, When trying to use google translate I am required to enable googleusercontent.com site (so that I can read the text in English as well as Hebrew simultaneously). But enabling this site brings the annoying message of "this page requires ac_runactivecontent.js." Now I understand the problem, but I am not sure how to solve it(without disabling googleusercontent!!)

Re: "google translate" and ac_runactivecontent.js
OK. I get the popup too if I Allow googleusercontent.com. If you Allow next-net.co.il then ac_runactivecontent.js can be executed.
Edit: By the way, it may be safer to add translate.googleusercontent.com to the whitelist rather than the more general googleusercontent.com.
