Can not open options menu

Post by bluebell_rose »

I'm not sure what is going on. I recently reinstalled no script. I have discovered to my dismay, I cannot open the options menu for the noscript add on.

I'm using reloadevery, snaplinks plus, flashblock, new tabs at the end, chatzilla, java console and mircosoft .net framework assistant

Does any error message appear in your Tools|Error Console when you select the "NoScript Options" command?
Could you uninstall the Microsoft .NET assistant?
Could you try Standard Diagnostic?

Not sure if this is the same issue but I have run into a problem where the NoScript popup menu is not visible. This behavior is present on 2 different computers both running Kubuntu 9.04 with FF 3.5.8 and appears when running *some* themes. I know that the Gradient iCool 1.2.0 theme causes this issue and reverting to the standard FF theme fixes the problem. The popup menu on Firebug and other addon displays fine, it is only the NoScript menu that appears to be affected. The window manager knows that the popup menu is there as I can see the drop shadow appear which would normally be behind the popup, but the popup itself is 100% transparent or not drawing at all.

Same problem here. SuSE 11.3 with Compiz Fusion. I've tried several different themes (RedShift V3.6, LavaFox V1), with the same result -- invisible popup menu. The problem is NOT present with the default Firefox theme.
