I used NoScript locked down tight on visiting
http://www.psfk.com/2010/04/abstract-fa ... lance.html
it crashes my firefox 3.0.5 on XP. I tried it at least three times in a row.
I have not experienced a browser crash like that, either before, nor since.
If it is NoScript, here is your heads up, if not -- what is it? Have at.

It doesn't crash for me on 3.0.19.
Since you're using 3.0.5, and lots of crasher bugs have been fixed since that version in Firefox, it can be literally anything (even a successful exploit).
I strongly advice you to upgrade (possibly to 3.6.3 or 3.5.9, 3.0.19 at the very least - notice it's probably gonna be the last 3.0.x version) and, if the problem persists, try Standard Diagnostic.

No problem here on XP using the current version, Fx 3.6.3, and NoScript 1.9.9.61. It may be caused by you using a very old, unsupported version of Firefox which has many known vulnerabilites. Help > Check for Updates. Known Vulnerabilities in Mozilla Products
