Readablility causes Firefox to crash.

Post by jfeldmantx »

Readabilty causes to Firefox 3.6 to crash. It worked previously, and it works if I disable NoScript (I know, not advised). Is there a workaround for this?

It's working fine for me (if you're talking about the bookmarklet).
Maybe an extensions conflict? Couldy you try Standard Diagnostic?

Thank you for the prompt reply. I ran the standard diagnostic and the only extension that interfered with Readability seemed to be NoScript. I also noted that an AP (Associated Press) javascript would not run (though it did not cause Firefox to crash) even though the parent site (The Advocate - a Baton Rouge, LA newspaper) displayed normally. Any help would be appreciated.

I understood that. I was suggesting that, since I can't reproduce and I had no other report, it may be the combination of NoScript + something else causing this crash.
Does it happen on a fresh profile with just NoScript?
Does it happen on every web site, or just on some?
Could you show me your latest about:crashes entries?
