Making Shareaholic's "Email Program" Work With Noscript

Post by erythrocyte »

Hi,

I'm a user of Firefox and the Shareaholic addon. Shareaholic give me the option to share links to webpages using the default email client on my computer, which in my case happens to be Thunderbird.

Unfortunately I can't figure out a way for Noscript to allow this. Would appreciate all the help..

Thanks in advance

Their answer seems to be to Allow a LOT of sites, Using Shareaholic with NoScript Firefox Add-on.

Appears you need to Allow any site that you want to share with/to (or whatever it is that this things does)?

But adding shareaholic.com to the whitelist has no effect. I think it relies on XSS rules. But I do not know how to make one for it to work. Any ideas?

therube clearly explained to you that you need to allow LOTS of sites, basically anything that you want to share about/or with you have to allow. A link was even provided to you so you can see all the things you need to do, did you try any of it? Obviously adding shareaholic.com to the allowed list is not sufficient unless that's the only site you are sharing.
