My knowledge of NoScript is very basic, but I found this in JAR exceptions blocking ^jar:http://samples\.noscript\.net\sample_apps.jar!.*\.xul$
Can someone tell me why this is an exception as I have not done anything with noscript, and I never noticed this until recently.

I don't know how new it is either, but it is the default value for that preference. It isn't something you added yourself and forgot about. To me, it looks like it's just a sample blocking exception, i.e. a template for adding real exceptions. I've never needed to do that though.
