[RESOLVED] whitelist not being restored at restart

Post by marc »

I believe since I got my netbook, sites I've whitelisted are not being remembered. Can you suggest anything to help troubleshoot?

noscript 1.9.9.47

Okay, I disabled every addon and the problem persists. I've discovered that it isn't the whole whitelist, but just selected sites. What happens is that when they are whitelisted, the domain name is italicized and at restart, they are removed from the list. Do you know what is happening?

First, please upgrade to 1.9.9.50 if you didn't yet.
Then, italicized domains are those which you use "Temporarily allow" on. They're meant to be erased on next restart.
If they appear out of the blue, you probably have NoScript Options|General|Temporarily allow top-level sites by default checked.

Ah! I just put the icon in the navbar so I can hide the statusbar. What I was expecting was that clicking on the logo would allow permanently instead of temporarily. So, my bad. Very sorry. Thanks for your help.
