Youtube have started sending a new page layout to some users, and it breaks the embed restrictions. I used to be able to click the placeholder and the video would play just fine, but now it detects the video hasn't loaded and says "flash too old", I get about 0.5 seconds to click the placeholder before it disappears and I get an error....has anybody else seen this or has a solution?
I've tried clearing all cookies to get the old layout back, but it's not working.
(I use noscript in a weird way - I whitelist http: and https: and then apply the embed restrictions to trusted sites, but this has worked perfectly for years)

Can I see a page doing that?Geroid wrote:I get about 0.5 seconds to click the placeholder before it disappears and I get an error....has anybody else seen this or has a solution?
Yes, it's weird. Why don't you just use "Allow Scripts Globally", keeping the restrictions for trusted sites?Geroid wrote: (I use noscript in a weird way - I whitelist http: and https: and then apply the embed restrictions to trusted sites, but this has worked perfectly for years)
