Noscript won't finish installing

Every time I install noscript it won't finish installing and it says it requires a restart to finish. Well every time I restart firefox both manually and by clicking restart it still says it requires a restart. I can't get it to install no matter what I do. I had noscript working fine but suddenly I realized it wasn't on. I've got no idea what happened or what went wrong. Basically its infinitely telling me firefox requires a restart to install noscript. I'm pretty much stumped on what to do and I can't find any other cases of this.

Looks like an Add-Ons Manager corruption.
Could you try to follow the steps outlined in this article?
