Update: Noscript does not work on iherb.com !

Post by Lassar »

Noscript does not work on iherb.com

I could not log in ! ("My account")

I disabled each one of my extensions one by one.

Leaving them disabled.

Noscript was the very last extension I disabled.

It was only after I disabled noscript, that I was abled to log in.

There is a bug in noscript !

I thought this sounded familiar. http://forums.informaction.com/viewtopi ... 554#p13554
Create a test profile, install NoScript 1.9.9.47, don't change the NoScript settings, load iherb.com, Allow iherb.com (and googleanalytics.com too, for good measure).
Can you log in now?

I stumbled on the solution.

I unchecked the the Enable Automatic Secure Cookies Management.

Now it will let me log in.

the only errors showing in the error console are:

Error: event.originalTarget.location is null
Source File: chrome://informenter/content/informenter.js
Line: 521

Error: set_cookie is not defined
Source File: http://img.informer.com/js/ps.js

Good. That feature is problematic and, if I recall correctly, provided at the request of some power users. It's unchecked by default for a reason. ;) I don't use it myself.
