Error message-can't install

Post by Bernadine »

I tried to install NoScript and received the following message:

Firefox could not install the file at

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... ddondetail

because: Invalid file hash (possible download corruption)
-261

I don't have the slightest idea what this means. Please give any instructions in simple English.

Thanks,
Bernadine

Same exact issue. Made a new Firefox profile and still wont work. I then loaded a virtualized clean Win7 64 bit image(no firefox installed), and then installed Firefox. Noscript still will not install.

This tells me its not an end user config issue....i think :)

It may be an AMO misconfiguration.

Thanks, that seems to have taken care of it.
