fx2 quicktime placeholder activation problem

fx2 + 1.9.9.25
1) allow apple.com, forbid other plugins for trusted
2) go to http://www.apple.com/trailers/paramount/ironman/
3) click watch trailer, quicktime placeholder shows
4) clicking on it does not activate the plugin

if you activate through the blocked objects menu, the player controls are disconnected, probably because they require post instantiation scripting to get hooked up

It's a z-index issue: the page places a translucent layer over the movie in order to display its control bar, and this layer intercepts your click.
You should be able to click on the bottom border, which slightly exceed its cover, but as you noticed it's not worth the effort because the initializing script already lost its train.
Not a bug, and probably not worth a work around.
