After updating NS to version 1.9.9.45 some embedded videos do not show on pages.

Thanks in advance for any help on this issue.

Re: NoScript 1.9.9.45 Blocks Embedded Video
NoScript is working as expected (and has it always worked so far): you need to allow livejournal.com (the main page), lj-toys.com (the iframe embedding the video) and youtube.com (the service hosting the video) in order to play it.

Thanks for your reply.
Still the problem is that all of the above are enabled, but video does not work either way. Even the "Allow all" option does not help.
From the other hand, downgrading to NS version 1.9.9.42 solves the problem.

Re: NoScript 1.9.9.45 Blocks Embedded Video
Works for me, iv660, using Firefox 3.6 with NoScript 1.9.9.45 on Windows XP SP3. With NoScript's default settings, all I have to do is click the placeholder to get the video to play. If I Allow the three domains Giorgio suggested, then the video is displayed without having to click a placeholder. Anyhow, the video sucks. You're not missing anything.
Your NoScript settings may have become messed up somehow. Reset the NoScript Options by pressing Reset at the bottom of the Options dialog. Export your whitelist before doing that if you've added any trusted or untrusted sites you'd like to restore after NoScript is working again.
I see a couple of potential problems from the user agent displayed at the bottom of your post:
2) You're using Firefox 2.0.0.12, which is terribly obsolete. It's easier to troubleshoot these issues if you're using the current version. Also, it's risky to use an old version of Firefox which has known, published, unpatched vulnerabilities. NoScript is a useful security tool, but even more effective is running with an up-to-date Firefox. Help > Check for Updates. Known Vulnerabilities in Mozilla Products
Other things you should do if you've done all the above and you're still having problems:
- There might be an extension conflict. Use the Add-ons manager to temporarily disable any other Firefox extensions you have installed, except for NoScript.
- Perform a Standard Diagnostic. If NoScript isn't working by the time you get to the "Create a new profile" step, a new profile with no other extensions besides NoScript should work right.
Hope this helps. Please let us know whether it does.
