Download Studio
Download Studio
I once had Download Studio on my computer but I didn't like it even though I had purchased. I removed it completely from my machine and even checked the registry for references. There are none. I now use Free Download Manager and JDownloader. However, in the list of Download Managers I can chose within Flashgot, Download Studio is still highlighted. Of course, this does not interfere with using FDM and JD, but why does it continue to show up in the Flashgot list. Since I grew to hate Download Studio, I really would like to return it to its well-deserved grayed-out condition. I've looked at Flashgot options and see no way to do this; I've checked for references in my Firefox profile and can't find any in the config files. Any ideas why this deadbeat won't go away? BTW, I have tried and deleted other download managers and after deleting them from my computer, Flashgot properly recognizes them as gone and they return to being grayed-out. Is this some annoying ploy from the creators of Download Studio? Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Download Studio
I scrolled to the very bottom of the list of download managers within FlashGot and also found WellGet, which I had also uninstalled. It still shows up as highlighted.

Re: Download Studio
WellGet is there by default because there's no way to autodetect it (since it's supported also in portable configurations).
The fact DownloadStudio is still displayed may mean that its Internet Explorer integration component somehow survived uninstallation.
You can try to run some registry cleaner program in order to remove it.
