Update frequency, major/minor updates

Post by Eske »

Hello.

Thanks for a very nice product. :-)

Is there any way to select a slightly reduced update frequency?
I would like to have only major upgrades (or at least stabilized versions) only.

It is rather annoying that almost every other time I boot the PC and reopens Firefox I have to accept an update, wait for a firefox-restart, and need to close your tab...

Even though a page like
http://noscript.net/?ver=1.9.9.42&prev=1.9.9.39
have the old and new version is in the URL, the information displayed is very general.And I just close the tab without reading it... :-o
Why not reduce to display relevent parts of the changelog e.g.
v 1.9.9.42
==========================================================================
+ ClearClick: more efficient code paths specific to Fx 3.6 and above
x Fixed zoom-related ClearClick false positives on Fx 3.6 and above
x Fixed fonts being reported as "unknown" type in Blocked Objects menu

v 1.9.9.41
==========================================================================
+ Fix for newline-based double-reflection InjectionChecker bypass (thanks
Sirdarckcat for reporting)
x Surrogate scripts from local files: surrogate's replacement is treated
as a file:// URL and resolved against current browser profile if it
starts with "file://", "./" or "../" (thanks Richard Stallman, Johan
Euphrosine and Sam Imtiaz)

v 1.9.9.40
==========================================================================
x Improved bookmarklet compatibility
Thanks in advance. :-)
