Hi,
I am using FireFox v3.5.7 and Google Toolbar v7.0.20091216Wb1 on WinXP PRO SP2.
I have following plug-ins too:
1] Flashgot v1.2.1.09
2] FreeDownloadManager v1.3.4
I am experiencing following issue:
Whenever I try a search from google searchbar, instead of displaying the search results in a new tab (as configured in options), search is always redirected to FlashGot + FreeDownloadManager plug-in to download a file named "Search" without any extension.
If I disable Flashgot (leaving FreeDownloadManager enabled) then Google toolbar search results are opened in a new tab as desired. But then Firefox is unable to start downloads automatically using FreeDownloadManager plug-in. One has to
manually start it using option available on right-click menu.
Regards.
Rad.

Re: Search results redirected to Download plug-in
Hi,
Looks like FireFox auto-update from 3.5.6 to 3.5.7 disturbed Flashgot plug-in in some way or the other.
After uninstall and reinstall of Flashgot plug-in, now everything is back to normal. Search is not intercepted by download plug-ins.
Thanks & Regards,
Rad.
