I am just getting so dazled by programs like these. Flash, quicktime and a few others are loading update processes on my computer that allows them to update anything really cause you have to trust them for them to work. Like Quicktime loads an Apple update program and a Apple program helper that runs all the time with no options I could find. quicktime will not run by it self. I went to Youtube and discovered that it requires you to have several programs loaded that have nothing to do with video. It has a lot to do with updating your software and tracking your movement on the web. HUGH!!!!!!!! Why do I have the latest version of WMP and it does not do my Youtube???????????? I like youtube but I don't trust them. They like many are malware happy. Forget twitter and the others. If they are OK why don't they ID them selves? What can I do?? If your program flags activex stuff and it says xyz pro wants to run, I don't have time to go look it up sand see what it is. And what about fire walls. I saw a program requesting a port like 29,224. How many ports are there and why such a high number. Why cant we just have one or five port for Firefox and that's it. What is 29224 port? what about all the ports before that? why not just run IP IDer. if a web sight can display it's message from 1 port 1 IP, all adds going through it. this is too crazy and unmanageable and I feel like I have to hire Blackwater to protect me. WHy don't you guys build a program that tells us just where our data is or has gone from our computer and what and when someone want to write and what they want to write and ask for permission? That does not sound too hard. What about it guys? Help me, make me feel comfortable. After having McAfee for a year I found thousands of malware programs on my machine and blamed AT&T for not giving me through put. who's to blame here?
