FlashGot 1.2.1.09 Lock-ups, Firefox 3.5.6, WinXP SP3

This problem applies to FlashGot 1.2.1.09 with Firefox 3.5.6 on WinXP SP3 & IE8.

On 2 identical desktop systems, this version of FlashGot cause Firefox to lockup. Page loads do not complete and eventually Firefox stops responding (Taskmanager).

Anyone else have this problem

Note that my Ubuntu (Linux) Notebook PC does not have this problem, but that's running Firefox 3.5.6 Linux/Ubuntu of course.

You're the only one reporting this problem so far, hinting at an extensions conflict.
Could you try Standard Diagnostic (keeping FlashGot enabled)?

First, I did use Firefox Safe Mode.

Second, disabling FlashGot was the only fix.

There is likely a conflict with either RoboForm or Star Downloader, which I insist in having.

I was trying FlashGot as a better integrating Star Downloader, since FlashGot worked so well integrating wxDownload Fast on my Ubuntu Notebook.

Star Downloader's method of integration (coping their Mozilla DLL to Firefox's Plugins folder) does not work consistently.

Try doing without it.
Disabling "browser integration" or some such option in Star should that option be present.
If not, rename the DLL & restart FF.
