Sort of. You can set up Fx so they will install, but there's no guarantee they will work properly. Create the about:config preference extensions.checkCompatibility with the Boolean value of false. Fx 3.5 will now allow you to install incompatible extensions. As a test pilot for Fx 3.7 beta Minefield to resurrect incompatible extensions I use Nightly Tester Tools add-on:

Sometimes however the incompatibility is between add-ons and interrelated, but in the majority of cases Nightly Tester Tools has never let me down,
