.local eTLD Landed, (& not that I know what it means
)
In case this should have any bearing on NoScript,

NoScript uses nsIEffectiveTLDService to handle domain suffixes, and the bug fixes nsIEffectiveTLDService's data, therefore NoScript shouldn't be affected.

Except under pre-1.9 Gecko, AFAIK.

Yes, on gecko 1.8.x and below it emulates it, but the emulation component is fed with the same data.
