Have to Login Twice for Some Sites (eBay, Bank)

I've had an ongoing problem with NoScript, for months now, where when I got to some sites I have to login in twice, for the login to work. This happens on eBay and my bank site.

Specifically: I fill in my user name and password and hit return. I'm sent back to eBay's home page and I'm not logged it. I click "Sign in" a second time and this time it works and I'm logged in.

This happens every time. I know my information is being sent the first time, because if I type the wrong password, eBay tells me.

I found a more than year old forum post at mozzillazine about someone having the same problem with NoScript 1.8, but the problem was supposedly fixed with an update long ago.

I'm using NoScript 1.9.9.18, with Firefox 3.5.5.

Any ideas what's going on? Any way to get this behavior to stop? Thanks.

I'm unable to reproduce the ebay login problem. I get logged in on the first try.

I suggest the following:
- Update to NoScript 1.9.9.19 at http://noscript.net/getit#devel. It's the latest and greatest. Click on unofficial development build.
- Add the ebay whitelist items suggested in the FAQ at http://noscript.net/faq#qa3_3

Allow ebay.com, ebaystatic.com, ebayobjects.com, ebayrtm.com, ebaydesc.com, yahoo.com, about:blank

Thanks for the help. It looks like the problem was the Automatic Secure Cookie Management. I followed the suggestions in the faq (http://noscript.net/faq#qa6_5) for adding entries to the "ignore unsafe cookies" section and that solved it for eBay and my bank. You have solved a problem that has been driving me crazy for months!
