All the files I'm downloading from megauploads are being renamed. This is obviously causing them to not work with the rar expander.
How do I maintain the correct filename on these files?
I have chosen to use the browser built-in download manager in firefox 3.5 and have tried it with megaupload's direct download option both activated and deactivated. The files all get renamed http://www.megaupload(??).com. I have also tried it with igetter and the files are then renamed "index.html"

Is this renaming something new?
If you bypass FlashGot, are the files named correctly?
Regardless of the names, are the files valid?
Free or Premium?
If Premium, are you logged in? Cookie correct?
URLs where this happens?

Re: Flashgot renames all files using OSX
Hello, I am having this problem as well. I don't know if it's something new, I've just recently started using MegaUpload, instead of RapidShare. If I bypass FlashGot, the files are named as they should be, and work properly. The files that I download from MegaUpload with FlashGot are listed as "MS-DOS Application (.com)" files. I'm a premium user, and I've made sure that I was signed in, and everything was working properly. I have no issues with the files downloading normally through my browser, or when using MegaManager. This problem only occurs when I use "FlashGot Selection".
Here is a test URL so that you can hopefully recreate the problem:
Thanks.

What download manager are you using?
If you download with IE, are they named correctly?
Are you clicking or center-clicking the download link?
Using Free & NetTransport, the file is coming down named as expected.

Re: Flashgot renames all files using OSX
I'm using the browser built in download manager for FireFox 3.5. I don't know how to use FlashGot with IE, but if I download the files normally with IE, then yes, they work fine. I download the files by using the context menu, I select the link, right click, and click "FlashGot Selection".
