NoScript and Megaupload
NoScript and Megaupload
Is there some trick that I don't know about regarding it blocking things on Megaupload.com? It does a really good job of blocking the embedded adds on the website. The problem is it's not blocking the pop ups that come up when you click the "click here to download button". I can set it to block megaupload, but than my problem is that it blocks the java based countdown timer that allows me to click the download button in the first place. I'm asking this because one of them pop ups from their site today put a trojan in my computer, luckily my anti-virus detected it right away and removed it, but I thought I should bring this up for future versions or see if I can do something I'm not aware of to fix this.

Re: NoScript and Megaupload
Are you a Free or Premium user?
Do you use AdblockPlus?
I don't recall seeing any popups for their site?
Other download services, yes.
That countdown timer, is JavaScript based, not Java.
All you need to Allow is megaupload.com (which is pretty much all that there is?).

Any particular URL that generates this popup for you?

Re: NoScript and Megaupload
I have a free registered account, and no I do not use Adblock plus.
The pop ups are generated when I click the "download now button" Though a way around it is to just do "save as" instead of clicking the button as someone suggested on another forum today.
