How to download all files from a folder w/o numbered files

Post by thunder »

I am trying to download all the pdf files from one directory? I looked at the FAQ for Build Gallery but these files are not numbered files. I need something like *.pdf, download all pdf files. Is there a way to do that and if so how? Ty

If the directory has an index, just open the index and use "FlashGot All".

Do the file names share any recognizable pattern?

No that is why I was asking if you can just download *.pdf. Using a wildcard like when you search for files. Download all pdf files regardless of the file name.

And how exactly is FlashGot, a spider or any tool / human supposed to guess these file names, if they're not regular nor listed anywhere?

That is why I was asking. I was not sure if FlashGot had a function like that or not and if it did how could you use it. I assume you cannot do this with FlashGot then? I was hoping it supported wildcards like * meaning everything, all etc... *.pdf meaning all files with the extension pdf or *.gif or *.jpg etc..

its supposed to grab it as a string. Words are numbers, and thus in the computer are arrays. cat is a 1x3 array so it would seem simple just as you do numbers to use letters, but i dont know much java, but i could tell you how to do this in matlab. Strings in matlab would be in '...' or in arrays and so i ask too what is the expression to find these . and if you can i will give you ONNNEEEE Milliouuunn dullars! [pinky to face; dramatic]

even so .. why cant we call all letters to each letter wihin the word and set a max # of letters upon all words?
