How can I change the language of flashgot

Hello,

i am using SeaMonkey 1.1.18 and installed now flashgot.
But FG uses now a strange language(i think it's polish). How can I change the used language (english or german)

Please try to change your general.useragent.locale about:config preference to "de-DE" and see if it helps after a browser restart.

OK, try to change the SeaMonkey shortuct adding the following command line argument:

Code: Select all

-UILocale de-DE

It should look like:

Code: Select all

"C:\Program Files\mozilla.org\SeaMonkey1.x\seamonkey.exe" -UILocale de-DE

Appears that is not a valid command line parameter for SeaMonkey 1 or 2 (at least it affected no change to my en-US).

(I have no language packs installed.)

Installing seamonkey-2.0rc2.de.langpack.xpi into 2.0 does then change the language (& takes me to http://www.seamonkey.at/start).

Installing seamonkey-1.1.18.de-AT.langpack.xpi does also then work, but not by using the command line parameter. You have to go to Bearbeiten | Einstellungen | Erscheinungsbild -> Sprachen => Deutsch.

After getting SeaMonkey 1 into .de, the FlashGot context menu items are in German, though the Options tabs (General | Menu | Downloads ...) are still in English, as are Uninstall & OK, though Abbrechen is, Abbrechen (& not Cancel).

(Don't really know anything about language packs other then what I've just done.)
