I am trying to view a show on ABC. When I do, it hangs for a while with a black screen (lower half shows a NoScript button, which I click) then I get an error: An error occurred while attempting to load the video.
The URL is: http://abc.go.com/watch/greys-anatomy/9 ... watchin-me
I've never been sure what to do when this sort of thing happens, so I usually go through the list of blockable sites and try each one. In this case, I have a LOT of blocked sites, as they are all pretty much recognizable as advertising sites such as quatserve.com, doubleclick.net, etc.
Is there a way?
Thanks.

Re: Can't Start ABC Shows
Aside from the annoyance of having to watch the commercials before getting to the show,
1) I had to temporarily allow the scripting from abc, goabc, movienetworks, and gigya.
2) After they loaded, there was a "blocked object" (green logo in NS Menu). Allowed the middle one, *@http://a.abc.com.
3) I had to install their player, which I assume you've already done.
4) Multiple cookies are presented at multiple times. I recommend "Allow for this session only", as I don't like having permanent cookies stored on my machine, but if you're a regular viewer there, checking "Use my choice for all cookies from this site" will tell Firefox to remember your preference, and you won't be asked about cookies there again (unless they introduce new ones), but will still have only session cookies set when you go there.
I think that's all.
After which, they played just fine.
Could you please confirm that you've allowed all of those? If so, what other extensions do you have? You may have an extension conflict. See General Troubleshooting Instructions, which will help to diagnose this likely cause.
Please let us know whether that solves the problem. If not, please provide a list of all extensions installed, the exact steps to reproduce the issue (go here, click this, allow this, etc.), and we'll try to narrow it down further. Good luck.

Re: Can't Start ABC Shows
No problems here and my wife's machine either. She uses her road laptop to watch shows on there with me sometimes. Neither on her machine, nor mine was a single difficulty to play the movie. This is certainly not a NoScript issue. Have you tried eliminating other extensions as the culprit by running a profile with just NS and see if it works? You may and will recognize quickly its not a NoScript issue.
