broken pages

[Helo Me]

I just got updates to the latest version of noscript and now on almost every page there is either broken images or the whole page is unformatted. What could be the cause.

PS I just discovered that enabling java allows images to load. even though the images have NOTHING TO DO WITH THE JAVA> This even happens on THIS FOURM.

How do you allow Java exactly?

I saved me settings reset the settings and impirted the saved settings back and now everything seems to be fine. I am still curious as to what the cause must have been. Autoupdate issue?

What if you disable every other extension except NoScript?

I disabled noscript and it doesnt happen, I reset my settings and it doesnt happen, I downgraded noscript and it doesnt happen,Did you change or add eny extra settings in this new noscript? I cannot find which setting it is

I can confirm help me's observations. After the NoScript upgrade, various web pages appear to be broken, most notably Amazon.de. When this happens, images are missing or the page layout is wrong, as if there were a problem with a CSS style sheet. Two examples:





Reloading the page usually fixes the problem, but only temporarily. So far, I have not found a way to reproduce the problem.

I imported your settings in a relatively clean profile, and the problem doesn't happen for me (not on www.amazon.de, at least).
It might be an extension conflict. Could you try Standard Diagnostic keeping latest NoScript enabled?

I disabled all add-ons except NoScript but the problem is still there.

i updated to latest version and pages do not render properly... well they do, but only if i refresh the page i'm trying to get to more than once, also does not happen
on every page

i reverted to a profile which had the previous version of noscript and the problem seems to of gone away

Just to add to this, I think it's a noscript/cacheing bug because it's the only extension that creates the issue, which is this:

1. Load a website/page normally
2. Click refresh or Ctrl+R
3. The images (all?) disappear
4. Press return in the address/url bar
5. Images re-appear.
