Weird white cross on noscript window

Hi everybody

I use firefox and have started to notice this weird white cross across the noscript window when I click on the noscript icon, started about a week ago

It is visible at all times on all websites

other than that, noscript seems to be working

I have the latest update of firefox (albeit a beta version 148.0b15) and noscript (13.5.12)

I am using Windows 10 on an old 64 bit PC

any ideas what is going on?

If you were to install a new extension, uBlock Origin perhaps, will that extensions interface also show that "cross"?

As a test, create a new, clean Profile.
Install only NoScript.
Does that new Profile also show the cross?

Do you have FF 147 release to test with?
If you made a copy of your FF 148b Profile, & opened that copy with FF 147, does FF 147 also show the cross?
