Trying to get No script extension installed on Slimbrowser (a browser variation using firefox 115 base) using the add-on page and directly from No Script's site @ noscript.net. Error message paraphrased says "the add-on downloaded from this site could not be installed because it appears to be corrupted".
Not sure what to think.
Thanks

True.Slimbrowser (a browser variation using firefox 115 base) [COUGH] Error message paraphrased says "the add-on downloaded from this site could not be installed because it appears to be corrupted".
I suggest you take that up with slimbrowser "support"
And it is not only NoScript, but other extensions also that fail to install.

"Slimbrowser", assuming it is FF 115 based, is FF 115.0, which is ages old, years, & insecure at this point.
If you want 115 ESR, which is still current & up to date, at this point in time, get it directly from FF.
NoScript works there, as does all other expected extensions.
(FF makes it a pleasure to be able to download what you want.)
I believe this page will get you there, https://www.firefox.com/en-US/download/ ... n64/en-US/.
And you want the 'Download 115 ESR' link.
(The 'Download Now link will give you 146 ESR.)
(I'll note that NoScript & other extensions can work in Slimbrowser.
I did that by hacking things, though not sure how to tell you to do the same to do that?
Anyhow, ditch slim & go with FF itself.)
