I've just installed NoScript in Chrome and as I prefer to use dark mode, enabled that immediately, but I notice that sometimes the text in the popup showing the web site name or IP address appears as dark red on a dark background.
This seems to happen on http sites rather than https. I presume the dark red is used to indicate it is an unsafe connection (these are local URLs, that have no certificate), but unfortunately this means it is not readable when in dark mode. This needs to be adjusted so that the text is visible in dark mode.
NoScript version 13.0.8
Chrome version 140.0.7327.6 (dev build)
Unreadable dark text in dark mode

Re: Unreadable dark text in dark mode
The "plain HTTP" red text in NoScript's dark mode doesn't seem that unreadable here in either Firefox or Chromium? Could you please post a screenshot of what it looks like on your side?

Re: Unreadable dark text in dark mode
Something to bear in mind, is I am getting on in years, so my eyesight is not what it once was.
I do not seem to be able to paste an image here (Perhaps because I am not a member?). I have tried to reproduce it as best as I can using BBCode below. If you use dark mode on the forum, this looks about what I see (text size matches - I am on a 4K monitor), though the background on the popup is a bit darker.

Re: Unreadable dark text in dark mode
Gah. That is indeed almost unreadable. The red color in NoScript is slightly brighter than that here.
Thanks for that info. The fact that your reproduction of the issue in BBCode reproduced the issue on my end where NoScript itself does not have this issue suggests that the issue is not just how your OS/monitor is rendering the colors - you're actually getting a darker red color than is intended. Sorry I have no idea what might cause that in Chrome

Re: Unreadable dark text in dark mode
Fortunately, it is a problem that will be minimised over a few days or so, as the only web pages I access that are plain http are ones on my local network.
That said, it would of course be helpful if the colour could be made a bright red when using the dark theme in a future release, to make it more readable in these circumstances.
