Why do I have to give permissions to NoScript in Chrome every time I start a new session.
I don't have to do that in Fire Fox.
Any help

What version of NoScript? What version of Chrome?
What permissions do you have to give?
How did you install NoScript for Chrome (Chrome web store, NoScript dev build, some other unpacked version of NoScript,...)?

Re: No Sript in Chrome
I have the most current versions of both Chrome an NoSript installed.
There are some regular sites that I visit and trust that I have checked off as trusted and once I leave Chrome and come back another day those sites that I have marked as trusted now show the untrusted snake and I have to redo the permissions .
It gets annoying after awhile as All permissions are remembered in FF

Re: No Sript in Chrome
I only give the trusted permission to sites like Scifi-Meshes.com and only the trusted for the Scifi- mesh part and it wont even remember that .
I may only check off additional permissions if I need to

Re: No Sript in Chrome
Are the settings lost when you quit and restart Chrome, or when shutting down or restarting the OS (or when something else external happens in the OS overnight)?
Do other Chrome extensions lose their settings too?

Re: No Sript in Chrome
1. Are you setting those permissions while in Incognito mode?
2. Have you got any "Cleaning" software which claims to scrub your browser data?

Don't use that mode and don't run any cleaners on Chrome.
This is only happening in Chrome . FF and Edge both work as they should .
Have tried removing it and reinstalling it and have the same problem .
I was using scripts safe until had a problem with it and wouldn't allow it .

Re: No Sript in Chrome
Sorry I think I misunderstood you I thought you meant in Chrome. I do use Wise Disc cleaner 11 on my desktop.
When I ran it and then went back into Chrome the permissions I gave where reset , so it must have something to do with Wise Disc cleaner, but running the cleaner doesn't remove the permissions I gave in FF and Edge , only in Chrome and it never caused any problems when I was using Script-safe in Chrome. All the settings in Wise Disc cleaner are set to default and always worked fine.
Any ideas out there

Re: No Sript in Chrome
Apparently external "cleaning" type software is as harmful to Chrome profiles as it is to Firefox profiles.
The solution for issues like this is to disable browser-related cleaning in the cleaning software's settings.
