NoScript is one of my favorite extensions. But I have never got Firefox Sync to sync my NoScript settings. Which in a way is just a nuisance, but it really bugs me from time to time when I notice I must configure exceptions twice. (In general, when setting a new Firefox instance, I export and import from a previous instance.)
IIRC, there was some technical limitation in Firefox Sync which is not solvable. And I'm not a fan of depending on yet another service for synchronizing settings across multiple Firefox instances. (Although I would use one if it's a storage service I already "accept", I guess.)
So the other day I thought perhaps a tool that can merge several configuration files would be useful? If I find some time I might write this myself- it just feels a bit tedious to implement, but I think it's not a massive amount of effort and might help others.
So I'm posting here to see if I bait someone else into implementing it for me
(Or perhaps importing settings in NoScript could do this?)Cheers,
