Hello i am new to noscript and i have a problem with this addon, everytime i want to watch a movie or a video there is this message "please enable Javascript or upgrade to a modern web browser", In the developer tools when i go to network i can see that noscript is blocking 2 files that have cookies and there are other 3 that are blocked i suppose by ublock origin and there is written in all of them "CSP". I can watch youtube videos because i have enabled "media" in the default preset so i am wondering if i shouldn't stay there because they want to fingerprint my browser or if i can do something (probably in the advanced setting?)
Also since i am a beginner can you give me some advice i litterally find this forum today, thanks. Also i can't use this site because "Please enable JavaScript in your browser to load the challenge."

Re: please enable Javascript or upgrade to a modern web browser
For what purpose(s) did you install NoScript?
NoScript blocks Javascript and other active content by default so that all active content that runs in your browser comes from origin(s) where you need it and which you trust enough to run on your computer. NoScript's default configuration is not "set and forget": you'll need to set sites to (Temp.) TRUSTED to enable the functionality you need on the websites you use.
NoScript can be configured in a more "set and forget" way, but doing so is generally not recommended.

If you actually ARE allowing sites in NoScript, and finding NoScript is still blocking them anyway, try adding these rules in uBlock Origin Dashboard > My Rules -NAB wrote: ↑Mon Feb 03, 2025 2:33 pm there are other 3 that are blocked i suppose by ublock origin and there is written in all of them "CSP".
Code: Select all
no-csp-reports: noscript-csp.invalid false
* https://noscript-csp.invalid/ csp_report allow
behind-the-scene https://[ff00::]/nscl/ xmlhttprequest allow
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!
