d4x 2.5.7.1, it doesn't works correctly download all/selecti

Post by simonbcn »

Ubuntu 9.04 32 bits
Firefox 3.5.3
Flashgot 1.2.0.4
d4x 2.5.7.1

If I link flashgot with Downloader for X and I click download all or selection, FlashGot opens a window to ask me the directory.
I press "Accept" and it opens another window with the links list, referer and "store into directory". All correct!
But when I press "Accept" it adds the list to d4x without the destination directory... :(

However, if I link flashgot with Downloader for X (nt) and I click download all or selection, FlashGot opens a window to ask me the directory. I press "Accept" and it sends all links to d4x correctly!
But, in this case, when I send a single link, flashgot doesn't ask me for the destination directory. :(

In summary:
  • flashgot + Downloader for X: only works well download a single link.
  • flashgot + Downloader for X (nt): only works well download all/selected.

Looks like a bug in D4X which doesn't seem to honor the --directory argument switch.
Investigating a solution (if necessary, I'll use a brutal cd like the one which is working in the "nt" version).

I'm trying to modify this plugin to fit my needs but my javascript skills are not as good.
The profile that best fits what I need is "Downloader for X (nt)", but I need that FlashGot asks me also the destination folder when I only download one link.
I have made several changes but I can't do it, what can you guide me a little?
Thank you!
